At 25-years-old, Ty Holloway, is a self-taught hybrid hourly/flat rate lube mechanic at Ganley Subaru East in Wickliffe. A couple weeks ago, he averaged 22 hours per week, making him only 55% efficient. He severely lacked the proper efficiency skills and hands-on training needed to advance his career. Back then, Ty would have not only missed a broken tie-rod, but he wouldn’t have even been able to replace it, even if it were dispatched to him. That’s why his service director, Phil Almas, sent him to Matrix Trade Institute.
